The Light Social has been Cancelled!
Unfortunately, due to the heavy rains we've been having and the flooding around town, the Light Social for May 30th has been cancelled.Stay tuned for more information about the next social, which will be DOUBLE-AWESOME!
Cornerstone’s young adult ministry, The Light, has three aims for those involved:
Get connected with believers in similar stages of life through small group Bible studies,
socials and service projects. For women: weekly, small group Bible studies and monthly prayer.
For men: weekly small group Bible studies. For all: weekly walk-through the Bible study, monthly
socials, monthly outreach projects. A sample of the Light’s socials: I-Cubs game, roller
skating, ice skating, hockey game, bonfire/hayride. Some of our monthly outreach projects:
building for Habitat for Humanity, serving meals at Ames’ Emergency Residence Project,
purchasing/delivering gifts for Angel Tree.
Grow in your understanding and application of God’s Word to your life through Thursday night
teaching and worship. Join us each Thursday at 7:00pm in Cornerstone’s Equipping Room.
As you get plugged in and switched on, discover opportunities to let your light so shine before
men that they glorify your Father in heaven. Whether you participate in monthly service projects
for the community or you reach out by reaching into the lives of others, our greatest desire is
that you would shine.
